From capturing light and shadow, adding visual depth or creating a ‘lived-in’ look from day one, we have a treatment option that enables designers to achieve their vision.
Fluted
One of most popular and instantly recognisable treatment options, Fluted options are available in structural block and as a brick cladding. Fluted concrete creates a uniform linear look that changes the way light hits the concrete across the wall. Particularly striking as a feature wall or used for outdoor fireplaces and kitchens, fluted products are at home in contemporary architecture, pairing perfectly with clean lines and subtle textures.
Honed
A Honed finish brings a high-end smooth feel, achieved by a polishing process that exposes aggregate to the light. It’s ideal for internal applications where concrete in its most refined form is desired.
Textured
A textured option intentionally roughs the surface, exposing various aggregates in a natural way. The result is a natural variation in achieved with tactility and authenticity.
Split Face
Split face is a subtle option for achieving light and shadow across a façade or block wall. The splitting process creates a bold texture inspired by the natural look of stone. In contrast to the Fluted option, split-face creates subtle, non-regular shadows for an ever-changing contrast effect throughout the day and over the seasons.
Plain
As the product comes out of the machine, the fairface option highlights the natural beauty of the material and requires the least processing – therefore is the most affordable.
Rumbled
Creating a ‘lived-in’ this look from day one is a delicate balancing act that we have fine-tuned through trial and error. Our rumbled treatment removes the clean edges of the block which creates a unique weathered look for rustic architectural responses, whilst keeping the same structural performance and integrity of a standard brick or block.
